He is the self-proclaimed biggest Indian fan of the British royal family.

95-year-old Boman Kohinoor lives in Mumbai and runs city’s famous Parsi and Irani cuisine restaurant, the Britannia & Co Café.

Mr Kohinoor shot to fame when his Facebook video asking to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton during their India visit went viral.
Now, the nonagenarian wants Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle to honeymoon in India and have lots of children after their wedding.

He said he was delighted to hear news of their engagement and hoped to see them soon.

“I wish them a very long and happy married life. And may all their troubles be little ones,” the sprightly nonagenarian told .

His love of the British royalty is proudly displayed on the walls of his café in Mumbai.

On one wall hangs a large framed photograph of Queen Elizabeth II, next to the portrait of India’s Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

One can also see a giant cardboard cut-out of a grinning William and Kate, their arms linked.

Mr Kohinoor met with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace hotel in April 2016 after they became aware of his video.

Kohinoor now hopes to meet Prince Harry and his bride, Markle, after they get married at Windsor Castle next spring.

“I hope they will visit me or I will invite them to visit me. My invitation is open for all of the royal family,” he said, adding that he would serve them Britannia's famous berry pulao, a popular Parsi dish.

Kohinoor also suggested an Indian honeymoon for the royal couple.

“There are many places they can visit. We have got one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal,” he said.

He hopes to see the royal wedding on television when it takes place at the Windsor castle in May next year.

Kohinoor, who has a granddaughter named after Harry's mother Princess Diana, advised the prince and Markle to have several children.

“It will be cheaper by the dozen!” he laughed.
