How many ways can we love thee, Bey?

Bey is showing Topshop boss Sir Philip Green who is in charge, cutting the tycoon from her business after that he subjected his staff to sexual harassment, bullying and racist abuse.

Beyoncé's company Parkwood bought out the tycoon's 50 per cent share in her clothing label Ivy Park. Beyoncé teamed up with the billionaire to launch the active wear brand with Green’s Arcadia Group in 2016, according to the

Some of the allegations against Green involved senior female staff's bottoms, haranguing and  and asking women in meetings if they were , and “needed their bottoms slapped”.

The internet is loving this latest move and we are here for it.
Sexual harassment is about power. And by taking full control of Ivy Park, Beyoncé is challenging the structure of power in the male-dominated business world. A structure that has previously allowed some figures, like Green, to get away with harassment.

When new types of people (namely not male and white) acquire power and capital in our culture, it changes the game and sets the terms for a new culture, with new rules of accountability.

Men in power do not dare to harass female bosses and business partners, because they can't. For those who abuse their power, to suffer commercial loss is sometimes the only language they can understand to force behavioural change.

Bey is boss and she's not letting anyone forget it.
