Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has accused her husband of domestic violence and infidelity.

The Indian cricket team pacer who is currently playing for India A in the Deodhar Trophy, has been accused by his wife for cheating and torturing her for over three years, reports.

Shami’s wife posted snapshots of her husband’s whatsapp conversations with women on her Facebook on Tuesday. She later deleted her account.

Hasin Jahan has alleged that after returning from the South Africa tour last month.

"Shami abused me and started beating me even after returning from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now and now I have had enough," she told .

"I gave him enough time (to rectify mistakes) and tried to calm myself down but instead of accepting his own mistakes, he used to vent his anger on me and even threaten me, asking to keep mum for my own goodwill," she added.

Hasin earlier said: “I’ve done everything he wanted me to do. He has tortured me & hasn’t treated me like his wife. He’s a big flirt. I’m not going to divorce him till my last breath. I’ve all the evidences & will soon drag him to the court.”

Shami has denied the allegations.

In a tweet, he said, "Hi I'm Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai (I deny all that is going on regarding my personal life. This is a conspiracy against me and it is being done to hamper my game)."

Mohammed Shami was omitted from the list of BCCI contracted players on Wednesday after the allegations surfaced against him.
