Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma hosted their first wedding reception in New Delhi on Thursday evening.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Delhi reception after the couple personally invited him on Wednesday.

Anushka and Virat tied the knot in Italy on December 11th. The couple announced their marriage on social media.
They returned to India to host two receptions, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. The Delhi reception was held at Durbar Hall at Taj Diplomatic Enclave.
Besides Kohli’s extended family, his colleagues – Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir too attended the reception.
Anushka was dressed in a red and gold Sabyasachi benarasi sari while Virat complemented her in black textured bandhgala with silk kurta and hand embroidered pashmina shawl.
Gurdas Maan, a Punjabi singer, songwriter, choreographer, and actor too attended and performed at the event. Later, Anushka was seen grooving to the music.
