'Monique and Erwin are traveling through Australia on horseback'

The dream of working with horses brought Monique and Erwin van Vliet to Australia, more than 20 years ago. For years, their lives were dedicated to animals for nearly 24 hours a day. The non-stop hard work finally took its toll, and Erwin fell into a depression. To mentally recover, the couple made a drastic decision: they sold their ranch in WA, and are doing the 'big lap', on horseback. Along the way, they raise money for Beyond Blue.
