Who Gets To Stay In Australia
While more than 40,000 people are rejected each year in their pursuit for permanent residency, every three minutes, someone gains it. In this Australian television first, SBS was granted privileged access inside the Administrative Appeals Tribunal where applicants put forward their appeals before a single judge in a last-ditch attempt to stay in Australia. Capturing deeply emotional life-changing moments, for some applicants, these decisions are a matter of life or death.

Life Drawing Live – Live streaming event

Joint Venture
In a fictitious future in São Paulo, Brazil, marijuana has just been legalised. Changing from one world to another is more difficult than he imagined, and to make matters worse, certain people from his past aren’t too happy with his decision.

Why Women Kill
From the creator of Desperate Housewives this dark comedy follows three women from different decades, all residents of the same Pasadena home, and all experiencing infidelity in their marriages. As the title reveals, all three women also end up killing someone. We meet Beth Ann Stanton in 1963, Simone Grove, onto her third marriage in 1984, and Taylor Harding, who’s in an open marriage in 2019. The solid cast includes Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

A prequel to The Walking Dead this gritty drama tells the story of the onset of the undead apocalypse through the eyes of a fractured family. Widower Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) is raising her two children as well as maintaining a relationship with English teacher Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis). Their daily stresses are exacerbated by the unforeseen chaos as a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold.

Starring Idris Elba as DCI John Luther, season 5 picks up where the fourth left off, with Luther chasing down serial killer Jeremy Lake (Enzo Cilenti) and investigating the abduction of gang leader George Cornelius’ son. Despite the short run of episodes (only 4), there is plenty to follow here, and Elba’s tortured Luther is as watchable as ever.
