The Good Fight, which already boasts one of TV's best ensembles, is coming back for its third season with the very charming Michael Sheen joining the cast.

We're expecting Sheen to be a major antagonist for the law firm in the show, as he takes on the role of Roland Blum, a brilliant, charismatic and Machiavellian lawyer. He is a man of appetites - drugs, sex, you name it - who's far more interested in winning than the niceties of following the law.

SBS viewers will know Sheen very well as the star of Masters of Sex, in which he played sex researcher William Masters. He is also well-remembered for roles in Frost/Nixon, Midnight in Paris, and 30 Rock. Notably, Sheen played UK Prime Minister Tony Blair in three films: The Queen, The Deal, and The Special Relationship.

Returning to The Good Fight this year are series regulars Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi, and Delroy Lindo.

What can we expect from the new season? While season 2 looked at the world going crazy under Trump, season 3 sets its focus more on the 'resistance'. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) tries to figure out whether you can resist a crazy administration without going crazy yourself, while Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo) and Liz Reddick-Lawrence (Audra McDonald) struggle with a new post-factual world where the lawyer who tells the best story triumphs over the lawyer with the best facts. Meanwhile, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) balances a new baby with a new love, and Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) finds a new Mephistopheles in Roland Blum (Michael Sheen), a Roy Cohn-like lawyer who is corruption incarnate.
