As Emilio Acosta in Party of Five

An aspiring musician and student enjoying life away from home, Emilio might be the oldest, but he’s the least responsible of his siblings. Parents Javier and Gloria Acosta crossed the border into the US when Emilio was a baby, seeking a better life for their family.

What else has Brandon been in?

Before landing the role of Emilio in Party of Five, Larracuente played baseball star Jeff Atkins in hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. In exchange for being tutored by Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) Jeff helps Clay improve his dating life and social skills. Larracuente is also in Netflix film Bright, opposite Will Smith, Joel Edgerton and Noomi Repace, and played Ben Rayburn in Netflix Original Series, Bloodline.

As Beto Acosta in Party of Five

While Emilio resists giving up his life to come home and help out, it’s second oldest brother Beto who steps up. At school, Beto struggles with sports and talking to girls, but discovers that taking charge in their time of family crisis comes naturally. It gives him the self-respect and sense of purpose he’s been looking for.

What else has Niko been in?

After a guest spot on Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande in 2013, Guardado appeared on popular shows including The Fosters, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, and mini-series Lost in the West before joining the cast of successful series The Goldbergs as Rubén Amaro Jr.

Off screen, Guardado helps The Eddie Guardado Foundation, founded by his parents Lisa and Eddie, a former Minnesota Twins All-Star baseball player, after his younger sister Ava was diagnosed with autism at the age of two.

As Lucia Acosta in Party of Five

A straight-A student, middle child Lucia is gunning towards getting into college when her parents are deported. Forced to re-evaluate her disposition to play by the rules, she quickly becomes resistant to authority, not only rebelling against her presumed duties as the oldest sister but also becoming politically radicalised.

What else has Emily been in?

Tosta has a recurring role on FX hit series Mayans M.C. Her career kicked off aged 8 with a lead role in musical The Miracle of Fatime, after which she appeared in Annie, Alice In Wonderland and Cats. Tosta has guest starred on shows such as The Resident, Rosewood, The Last Ship and NCIS: Los Angeles. Tosta is also an activist off screen.

As Valentina Acosta in Party of Five

While she’s precocious and resourceful, as the youngest sister Valentina is terrified at what the future holds, especially at embarking on adolescence without her mother’s guidance. Her vulnerability forces her older siblings to step up and offer the structure and support she needs, albeit their ability to provide it may be lacking.

What else has Elle been in?

With her career starting in 2017, Paris Legaspi appeared as a guest on TV series On My Block and Vida, and starred in short film Tabula Rasa before landing the role of Valentina Acosta.

Off screen, Paris Legaspi participated in dance battles and competitions all around the world in partnership with Imma Beast Co. and Jr. Skullies Crew. She also raises awareness of child safety in cars alongside the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and SafeKids Orange County.
