Overnight in Kyiv, Ukraine, Isaiah took to the stage to perform his song ‘Don’t Come Easy’, alongside 25 other Grand Finalists.
The scores of the voting juries and viewing public in 42 countries including Australia were combined for the official results.
from Portugal was crowned Eurovision winner with his song ‘Amar Pelos Dois’ being awarded 758 points. Bulgaria took out second place, and Moldova in third place.
The Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final is broadcast on SBS tonight, Sunday 14 May, 7.30pm, with commentary from Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey and includes backstage interviews with artists and all the behind the scenes action from the contest.
Isaiah said:
“The Grand Final atmosphere in the arena tonight was amazing, and I took all that energy into my performance. I want to say a big congratulations to Salvador from Portugal, and all the incredible singers who gave it their all in the contest.
"Meeting and performing with the artists from other countries, and getting to know the Ukrainian people has been an experience I will never forget and I will always be honoured to have represented Australia.”

The 2017 Eurovision Grand Final airs tonight on SBS at 7:30pm and will be simulcast streamed via SBS On Demand.
