Iconic early-noughties makeover reality show Queer Eye For the Straight Guy is being rebooted by Netflix, according to .

The show’s producers say Queer Eye is going to “make America fabulous again” in a statement.

“In a time when America stands divided and the future seems uncertain, a team of five brave men will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart, and just the right amount of moisturiser.”

The program originally aired from 2003-2007 and has been praised for the way it impacted LGBT+ representation on television with an all gay cast.
But fans of Carson, Jai, Kyan, Thom and Ted may be disappointed to hear that Netflix is casting for an all-new Fab Five to give expert advice on fashion, culture, grooming, design and cuisine. The original cast will not be centre-stage, but there is a possibility they’ll make cameo appearances.

The Emmy Award winning show has had eight new episodes ordered, and will be shifting its focus away from New York to “turn the Red states pink”.

Between this and the Will and Grace reboot, all things just keep getting more and more like we're living in 2003.
