Meghan Markle is continuing to forge her own path forward, signing on to speak alongside the likes of Michelle Obama at this year's virtual , which aims to inspire and empower young women around the world.

The three-day event, which was launched by the United Nations Foundation in 2010, will move online this year for the first time in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic - but that hasn't stopped the event from securing a powerful lineup of women to speak and deliver presentations, including Jameela Jamil, Monique Coleman, Storm Reid, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

According to the event's website, the Girl Up Leadership Summit aims to achieve progress towards gender equality worldwide, providing girls from all backgrounds with the resources to start a movement for social change.
