She's the body-positive, flute-playing singer taking the music world by storm - and Lizzo is only just getting started.
Following the news that her debut album Cuz I Love You had reached number 1 on the US charts, the singer took to social media to share a video of her being surprised with a chocolate cake version of her album cover photograph - a stunning naked portrait of the star.
"I wanna hear stories, favorite lyrics," she wrote in the video's caption.
"Did you cry? Did you laugh? Fill my comments with love and let’s keep celebrating this album TOGETHER."
The news topped off a spectacular week for Lizzo, who wowed audiences with her performance at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival - particularly when the backing music for her track 'Juice' failed and she carried on unphased, delivering a high-energy acoustic rendition.
She was also praised for including a diverse range of backup dancers in her performance, with plus-sized men slaying her group choreography and proving that, on the subject of body positivity, Lizzo puts her money where her mouth is.
Speaking about body positivity with Trevor Noah on The Daily Show, Lizzo said that she realised early on that her existence was a form of activism.
"I think that it's so interesting that body positivity is now this buzzing term," she said.
"There's no term for body negativity because it's the norm we expect. At this point, I realised my mere existence is a form of activism, especially in the body positive community."
Lizzo has been on the music radar for a number of years now, having released a self-love anthem titled 'I'm In Love With Myself' back in 2015.
