Oscar-winning writer and director Dustin Lance Black and Olympian Tom Daley have married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony at Bovey Castle in Devon.

reports that Daley recited lines from Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet from a balcony before the pair exchanged vows in front of 50 close friends and family members.
Members of the London Gay Men’s Choir then sang Bruno Mars’ hit song "Marry You", and the multi-tiered wedding cake was reportedly made by Daley himself.

There were concerns that the wedding would be postponed after Daley posted a photo from a hospital bed just days ago.

The champion diver tweeted: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and mentioned that he was getting “old” and his hips “needed some help”.
The 22-year-old has been in a relationship with the 42-year-old creator of  for four years and the pair got engaged in October 2015.
At one point Black and Daley put their long-distance relationship on hold due to their hectic schedules but reunited after seven months apart.
“Me and Lance, after working through that distance, through the amount of time we’ve been together, sometimes it takes something like a little bit of time apart to realise how fond you are of each other,” Daley . “That’s why we’ve been enjoying planning our wedding so much in the last few weeks. We don’t have secrets in our relationship. We’re honest and open about everything.”
