Twitter has a new Queen - and her name's not Elizabeth.

Princess Anne has gone viral for shrugging in response to an apparent scolding from The Queen.

Her crime? Taking a hard pass on joining the royal lineup to meet President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania during the reception for NATO leaders at Buckingham Palace yesterday.

For those not overly familiar with the seemingly care-free Princess, the exchange skyrocketed her to social media icon status. However, others weren't so shocked by the display of non-fuss.

"People are surprised that Princess Anne can hang [out]?" One Twitter user wrote.

"That woman once was the victim of an attempted kidnapping and when she was told to get out of her car at gunpoint she said, 'Not bloody likely.' A true bad b****."
Another wrote: "Princess Anne has ALWAYS been an absolute hero in the royal family. Didn’t give her kids titles, first to divorce, working round the clock..."

In the video circulating online, Queen Elizabeth appears to say something to her 69-year-old daughter, who shrugs in a nearby walkway as surrounding royals chuckle.

It then appears as though Princess Anne jokingly says, “It’s just me”.

Princess Anne earned further praise online for being present among world leaders, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, .
