The beloved Tour de France promises another thrilling event filled with heart-stopping racing, incredible scenery and wild fans. This year's route brings something for everyone, with two individual time trials in Stages 5 and 20 as well as days for the fast-legged sprinters, gritty climbers and GC hopefuls!
Watch the riders cover each and every metre on SBS with commentary every night from Matt Keenan, Robbie McEwen, Bridie O'Donnell and David McKenzie. There will be no chance for the peloton to ease into the action on the opening stage of the Tour de France. Frequent changes in direction, crosswinds on the Monts d'Arrée and a summit finish atop the Côte de la Fosse aux Loups are sure to pose a big challenge!

Sunday June 27

A shorter stage will provide some minor relief for the legs as the peloton make the journey through the Argoat region of inland Brittany on another day that will favour the sprinters. Some hilly roads through the forest and possible winds may complicate things though.

Wednesday June 30

It's go-time for the climbers as the race enters it's first mountainous stage, with the finish at Le Grand-Bornand following a battle up the Romme–Colombière.
