Every game of the 2020-21 NBL season is LIVE, FREE, and in HD via SBS On Demand, with select games also live on SBS VICELAND.

The Milwaukee Bucks sharpshooter joins a Bullets ownership group headed by former NBA star Kevin Martin and includes Chicago Bulls forward Thaddeus Young.

Middleton revealed his time in Australia with Team USA played a major role in his decision to invest in the Bullets and the NBL.

“I travelled to Australia with Team USA in 2019 and saw firsthand the passion for basketball that Australians have.

“The game of basketball is constantly evolving; especially on a global scale and the Bullets are a team that has incredible potential for growth both on and off the court.”
Majority owner Martin said Middleton’s investment in the NBL comes as no surprise.

“Khris has thousands of opportunities to invest money into different sectors so we are excited to have him as part of our team,” said Martin.

“Someone of Khris’s stature investing in the Brisbane Bullets organisation represents the ongoing, unprecedented rise of the NBL,” added Martin.

“It has quickly become the second-best basketball league in the world. Khris and the rest of the sports world are quickly realising the quality of the league.”

Brisbane isn’t the only club in the NBL to attract investment from the NBA with Houston Rockets star John Wall joining the ownership group of the South East Melbourne Phoenix, joining Rockets teammate Dante Exum and former NBA forward Zach Randolph.

Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo also bought a stake in the New Zealand Breakers late last year.

LaMelo Ball enjoyed his time playing for the Illawarra Hawks so much he bid to purchase the club but lost out to a group led by veteran NBA general manager Bryan Colangelo.
The Bullets, currently in fourth spot on the NBL ladder, will want to put on a show for their new owner when they head to John Cain Arena to take on Melbourne United this Monday.

You can catch all the action live, free and in HD on SBS On Demand from 7.30 pm (AEST).

Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks will also be on SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand on Thursday, April 15 from as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves with live coverage of that match from 10.00am.
