SBS will broadcast the elite women's and men's time trial and elite women's and men's road races in the 2020 world road race championships from Imola race circuit in Italy.

The UCI road world championships were scheduled to be hosted in Aigle, Switzerland, but were rescheduled at short notice after Switzerland upheld a ban on large gathering within the country. A late search secured the Imola race circuit, the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, as the new home of the 2020 world championships.

With COVID restrictions as they are, there will be a much-reduced schedule, with just the elite women's and men's riders contesting the individual time trial and the road race.
