Former WNBA winner Walker-Kimbrough has left Phoenix Mercury for Atlanta, reuniting with former Washington Mystics teammate Tianna Hawkins for 2021.

“Shatori has proven to be a very good three-point shooter in this league with championship pedigree,” Dream head coach Nicki Collen said.

“Having a 3-and-D player is important for depth, and I believe with her length and athleticism she can help us at both ends of the floor.
LA Sparks, meanwhile, have secured four-time WNBA champion Augustus to a new contract.

“I’m really excited to continue my career in Los Angeles and build on what we started last season,” veteran Augustus said.

“This organization is filled with young players and veterans ready to compete and grow as a team.

"I’m motivated to help lead this group into the next era of Sparks basketball.”

Drafted No. 1 overall in the 2006 WNBA Draft by Minnesota Lynx, Augustus has eight All-Star appearances (2006, 2007, 2001, 2013-2015, 2017, 2018) and is a three-time Olympic gold medalist.
