Skaters from around the world are in Tallinn for the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships - a four-day competition that will have multiple replays featured daily on SBS On Demand.
With the Beijing Winter Olympics less than a month away, this event will be one of the last selection opportunities for many figure skaters from around the world as they look to book their ticket to the Games.
The ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships features skaters from the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Athletes will compete in singles, pairs and ice dancing.
The Four Continents was set up in 1999 to provide high-level competition for skaters from non-European countries. Due to COVID-related complications, the competition will be held in Estonia, within Europe for the first time in its history, and will take place in Tondiraba Ice Hall.
With 100 top skaters from 15 countries around the world, the Australian contingent will have plenty of competition to secure their qualification to the Olympics.
Australia initially named a full contingent for this competition, but two Pairs teams and an Ice Dance team subsequently withdrew.
This event will also serve as the final selection for the Australian Olympic Winter Games team and the 2022 World Championships in singles.
The Australians heading to Tallinn are: Kailani Craine, Victoria Alcantara, Brendan Kerry, Jordan Dodds and James Min - all competing as individuals.
In the Ice Dance, Australia will be represented by Holly Harris and Jason Chan, along with India Nette and Eron Westwood.
