At least 21 people have been confirmed dead in Fiji as the Pacific nation begins the enormous task of rebuilding in the wake of the devastating Cyclone Winston.
The category five cyclone was one of the most powerful ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere with wind gusts over 300 kilometres per hour.

is working in evacuation centres, helping to register families, distribute relief supplies and trace missing people. As the winds and waves ease, emergency response teams will provide support to the outer islands of Fiji, which bore the full brunt of the terrible storm.
