The 93-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II is notorious for putting his foot in it and has hit the headlines on countless occasions for remarks targeting women, deaf people and an unsuspecting car-park attendant who the prince branded a "bloody silly fool".

We take a look back at some of his greatest hits.
