More Manchester attack victims named as families remember loved ones

The following are short profiles of those identified by family or friends as being among the 22 people killed in a suicide bombing after a British concert by U.S. singer Ariana Grande.

Gina (Georgina) Bethany Callander (18, from Lancashire)

Georgina was a music fan who had met Ariana Grande and other performers posting many of the pictures on social media. Source: Instagram

Georgina Bethany Callander was an 18-year-old health and social care student, a music fan who had met Ariana Grande as well as other performers with whom she had posted many pictures on social media. "So excited to see u tomorrow," she had tweeted to the star the day before the concert.

Her former school, Bishop Rawstorne near Leyland in Lancashire, described her as a lovely and popular student who would be dearly missed by her two brothers. Bolton Wanderers Football Club also posted condolences on its web site, as Georgina had played in its under-11s girls team.

Some of her friends set up a crowdfunder to help her family with the cost of her funeral.

John Atkinson (from Radcliffe, Bury)

John Atkinson, who was reportedly 28, studied health and social care at Bury College and his friends have set up a Facebook page in his memory.

Local lawmaker Ivan Lewis tweeted: "My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of John Atkinson. Our Radcliffe community will do all we can to support John's family".

Saffie Rose Roussos (8, attended Tarleton Primary School in Lancashire)

The youngest victim named so far, Saffie Rose Roussos was described by the headteacher of her school, Chris Upton, as "simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone and her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly."

"The thought that anyone could go out to a concert and not come home is heartbreaking," he said. "Saffie was quiet and unassuming with a creative flair."

Martyn Hett (29, public relations manager from Stockport)

Martyn Hett described himself on an internet profile page as someone with a silly sense of humor who liked "strong women and low culture".

Hett was a fan of the long-running British television series Coronation Street, set in Manchester, and had a tattoo of one of the characters on his leg. He had a vivacious personality and appeared on television several times in the series "Come Dine With Me" and on magazine programs talking about his love of the series and his tattoo.

His brother Dan confirmed his death on Twitter, as did his friend Russell Hayward.

"He left this world exactly how he lived, center of attention," Hayward said.

Olivia Campbell (15, Bury)

In a last conversation, schoolgirl Olivia Campbell thanked her mother Charlotte for allowing her to go to the Ariana Grande concert, and told her she loved her.

The family spent most of Tuesday frantically searching for her and her mother confirmed on Wednesday that she had been found dead.

"RIP my darling precious gorgeous girl Olivia Campbell taken far far too soon go sing with the angels and keep smiling mummy loves you so much," her mother posted on Facebook.

In a Facebook post soon after the attack, York College student Alex Klis made a plea to help find her parents, Angelika and Marcin Klis.

"If anyone comes across my parents please, please let me know as they've been missing ever since the attack, this is a picture taken tonight so this is exactly what they were wearing," she wrote.

Polish parents died in the suicide attack in the English city of Manchester, Poland's Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski confirmed on Wednesday.

"The parents came after the concert to collect their daughters and unfortunately we have information that they are dead," Waszczykowski told private radio RMF FM.

"The children are safe."

Alison Howe and her friend Lisa Lees, who arrived at the arena to pick up their children, have been named victims.

Ms Howe's stepson Jordan Howe posted a photo of her on Facebook, saying: "They took a caring beautiful mum and stepmother away from us all she was amazing to us all x love you loads Alison Howe xx."

Lee Hunter, the brother of Lisa Lees, posted to Facebook: 'For those who don't know, Lisa is gone but never ever forgotten.

"I love you Lisa, I'll miss you so much."

An earlier Facebook post by Lisa Lees' daughter, Lauren Ashleigh Lees, shared a photo of her before her death had been confirmed:

"Recent picture of my mum, she's no longer blonde like the photo originally shared.

"We are all really worried, still haven't heard a thing, thank you all for your amazing support."

Kelly Brewster (32, from Sheffield)

Kelly Brewster, 32, is another victim of the terror incident. 

She helped protect her niece, Hollie Booth, who broke two legs during the attack, and her sister Claire Booth, according to Hollie's grandmother Tracy Booth.

"Would just like to say Kelly Brewster, you died a hero," Tracy Booth wrote on Facebook.

"You saved your sister Claire Booth and my granddaughter Hollie Booth, so Kelly, you fly high with the angels."

Michelle Kiss (45, mother of three)

Michelle Kiss was a loving wife to Tony and mother to Dylan, Elliot and Millie, her family said in a statement.

"Family was her life and we are all obviously devastated by her loss. She has been taken away from us, and all that love her, in the most traumatic way imaginable," they said.

Nell Jones (14, student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School)

Nell Jones, 14, died at the scene, her school in nearby Cheshire confirmed.

The teenager was a "very bright and popular student", said Holmes Chapel headteacher, Denis Oliver.

Sorrell Leczkowski (14, student from Leeds)

Sorrell Leczkowski, 14, from Leeds, northern England, was "a delightful member of the school community", said Elaine Silson, the head of Allerton High School, in a letter to parents.

"Our staff and students are very upset," she said.

Leczkowski's mother Samantha and grandmother Pauline, who had 15 hours of surgery to remove shrapnel, are among the injured.

Jane Tweddle (51, school receptionist)

Jane Tweddle, 51, a school receptionist, was waiting for a friend's daughter when the blast happened, her friend Mark Taylor told BBC radio.

Jane Bailey, head of South Shore Academy in Blackpool on the Lancashire coast, said she a "truly wonderful friend and colleague".
