Caribbean demand for slavery reparations

English-speaking countries and territories of the Caribbean are demanding reparations from Europe for the region's history of slavery.

The English-speaking countries and territories of the Caribbean have put forward a ten point list demanding reparations from Europe for the region's history of slavery.

The list was approved at a meeting of leaders gathered to tackle social issues facing Caribbean nations.

Washington correspondent John Stempin spoke to Santilla Chingaipe.
