We want your experience of the SBS Vietnamese Facebook community to be as positive and enjoyable as possible, so we have some House Rules that we expect everyone to follow.

We want your experience of the SBS Vietnamese Facebook community to be as positive and enjoyable as possible, so we have some House Rules that we expect everyone to follow. All contributions are published at SBS’s sole discretion and MUST comply with the following House Rules. 

Be polite. Treat other people using the Facebook page, including admins, with respect and courtesy. Comments using inappropriate language, which are abusive towards other users, or which appear to deliberately provoke arguments, will be deleted and/or the user will be blocked. Please respect other people's views and opinions. 

Be yourself. Do not impersonate someone else or post on behalf of another user.  Do not post from an account that is intentionally false or misleading to other users.

Don't break the law. Do not post comments which are defamatory, discriminatory, incite violence, infringe copyright or are otherwise unlawful. Messages that are factually wrong and misleading may also be deleted.

Be discrete. Do not disclose sensitive information publicly. If you want to pass on a news story or some other information, inbox us or send an email to vietnamese.program@sbs.com.au

Stay on topic. This Facebook page is to discuss all things presented on SBS Vietnamese program or other current/ cultural affairs. Off topic messages will be deleted.

Don't advertise. Contributions that seek to endorse commercial products or activities or solicit business will be removed.
