My Tet Lunar New Year 2024 Photo & Video Competition
Competition Period:
Commences: 9:00 AM AEST on 1 February 2024.
Closes: 5:00 PM AEST on 19 February 2024.
Maximum Number of Entries: One (1) entry of a video and/or photo album (max 10 photos) per person.
Entry Restrictions:
The Competition is open to Australian residents only, aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter, the Prize Supplier(s) and associated companies and their immediate families are ineligible.
How to enter:
· During the Competition Period, entrants must follow the link from the Competition post on the ‘SBS Vietnamese’ Facebook page and follow the directions to enter the Competition.
· Entrants must email their entry of a video and/or photos depicting the entrants’ Tet celebrations for e.g.: family gatherings around the pot of banh chung, cooking, preparing food offerings, decorating homes, joyful scenes on Tet holiday, New Year's greetings, toasting to the new year, giving and receiving lucky money, and/or family outings to Tet festivals in Australia, Tet shopping trips, etc.
· All entries must meet the following requirements:
- Video: must have a clear title, commentary, or narration; minimum duration of 2 minutes, maximum duration of 4 minutes; video format: mp4. minimum visual quality of HD 720p (1280 x 720 or 720 x 1280), minimum audio quality of 128kbps; and excludes the use of copyrighted music in the video.
- Photos: a set of at least 3 photos, maximum of 10 photos; includes captions or a story related to the photos, with a minimum of 50 characters and a maximum of 250 characters; format: JPEG. Minimum quality of 1280 x 720 and should not be heavily edited or altered.
· All entries must be original and must not be winners of a previously run competition.
· Entrants must possess all rights to their entries.
· Videos and photos with poor audio and visual quality and/or watermarks will be disqualified.
· Entrants must tag their own Facebook profiles of their entries, after SBS Vietnamese posts them on
· The winning entrants must agree to be contacted by the Promoter via email and/or Facebook.
· The Promoter will have the discretion to deem ineligible entrants who are found to use multiple email/Facebook accounts.
Prizes:
First Prize:
One (1) First Prize winner will receive one (1) gift card to the value of AUD$200.00.
Second Prize:
Two (2) Second Prize winners will each receive one (1) gift card to the value of AUD$150.00.
Third Prize:
Seven (7) Third Prize winners will each receive one (1) gift card to the value of AUD$100.00
Prize Conditions:
All prizes are available and redeemable via email or SMS.
The First Prize is valued up to: AUD$200.00
Total value of Frist Prize: AUD$200.00
The Second Prize is valued up to: AUD$150.00
Total value of Second Prize: AUD$300.00

Winner Selection:
All valid entries with considerable social media engagement and judged as the best by the Promoter, will be awarded Winners of the Prizes.
A panel selected by the Promoter will judge all valid entries and the Winners will be selected on 20 February 2024 at 11:00 AM AEST at 14 Herbert Street, Artarmon, NSW 2064.
Prize Winner Notification:
All Prize Winners will be notified by email on 21 February 2024.
Winners’ names will also be published on the SBS Vietnamese Facebook Page on 21 February 2024.
Second Chance Selection and notification:
If a Winner cannot be contacted by 5:00 PM AEST on 27 February 2024, the Promoter or its nominated agent will select another Winner(s) from all valid entries. Second Chance Winners will be notified by email on 28 February 2024 and published on the SBS Vietnamese Facebook Page on the same date.
