Famous Hollywood Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is known for his movies such as, Titacnic, Blood Diamond, Romeo And Juliet, etc. But what many don't know is that he has a strong link to the Sikh faith.

Leonardo's mother is an Amritdhari Sikh who dons the 5 Kakars as per the Sikh tradition.

Even though Peggy DiCaprio is Leonardo's step mom, she is often seen with the actor at various functions. Not many know that Leonardo even has a step brother named Adam Ferrar. The mother is often seen at Hollywood award shows as she’s easily identifiable due to her turban.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio has won the Golden Globes Best Actor Award this year for his role in The Revenant which is based on the true life experiences of frontiersman Hugh Glass, played by Dicaprio. The actor is now hoping to win his first Oscar this time.

Peggy is Leonardo's father, George's second wife. She embraced the Sikh faith over a decade ago.

George DiCaprio is a comic book writer, editor and distributor. Leonardo's biological mother divorced his father when he was one.
