Dr Sanduk Ruit and Fred Hollows - a tale of a shared vision

Internationally renowned Nepali eye surgeon Dr Sanduk Ruit's friendship with the late Fred Hollows was one with shared vision of providing high quality and low cost eye care. Since the time they first met in 1985, the pair worked to simplify surgical techniques and restore sight to thousands of people. As Fred Hollows Foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary, Dr Ruit spoke to SBS Nepali about his friendship with Dr Hollows and the foundation's work in 25 countries including Nepal.
