You may be eligible to apply for ACT nomination (190 visa) if the status of your nominated occupation is shown as ‘open’ on the ACT Occupation List and you meet the nomination criteria as shown in the guidelines.

OCCUPATION 'CLOSED'? You may still be eligible to apply

ACT residents working in a skilled occupation may be eligible to apply for ACT nomination, even if the occupation is listed as ‘closed’ on the ACT Occupation List. How? More details, available here.
