Australia’s Got Talent featured Sukhjit on Monday night who performed her spoken word poetry enthralling the audience. She used the power of spoken word poetry to emphasise her identity as a Sikh born and brought up in Australia.

Born and brought up in Perth, Sukhjit currently resides in Melbourne. Sukhjit's poetry tackles some core social issues like gender inequality, identity crisis and feminism.
After Monday's nights' performance, Sukhjit has earned a huge following across Australia. But few people know that she made it to the finals of the National Australian Poetry slam in 2014.
