Air India has announced two special flights from Australia to India this month.

India’s national carrier Air India has added two new repatriation flights from Australia to India this month.


Highlights:

  • Air India has added two new repatriation flights from Australia to India this month.
  • First flight is from Sydney and next is from Melbourne.
  • Since 6 May Air India has facilitated international travel of more than 22 lakh people.
The first flight from Sydney to Delhi will take off on 23 October 2020 at 10:15 am.

The second flight is from Melbourne on 25 October at 11:15 am.

According to the Indian consulate in Sydney, the tickets for these flights will be available through the Air India website and booking offices.
India announced Vande Bharat Mission to bring back its citizens stranded abroad due to the Coronavirus lockdowns.
Since 6 May Air India has facilitated international travel of more than 2.2 million people.
According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation India, “19,11,217 stranded Indians have been repatriated through various means under Vande Bharat Mission.”
