SBS Yiddish report with Alex Dafner The Executive Council of Australian Jewry has resolved differences among its councilors and updated its climate change platform to include a reference to a target of zero net emissions by 2050. The Jewish Community Council of Victoria has reached agreement with their recently elected President Dr Andre Oboler, re his earlier than previously agreed on resignation and departure date and withdrew some of the comments made regarding the reasons for his decision to resign. The Israeli Embassy in Canberra and local Jewish leaders strongly condemned some media and Amnesty International’s claims that Israel has withheld coronavirus vaccines from Palestinians, as false, misleading and tantamount to anti-Israel propaganda.
