People celebrate the Nouveau Front Populaire victory at the second round of the French legislative elections at Place Stalingrad. After losing the first round of the French legislative elections, the left-wing Nouveau Front Populaire coalition won the second round. Thousands of people took to the streets and celebrated in Place Stalingrad, outside the headquarters of La France Insoumise, with speeches from several of the party's personalities. Another highlight of the celebrations was, inevitably, the Place de République, with several records of clashes between police and demonstrators.
