On Monday, Australia reported at least six COVID-19 deaths, including three in Victoria and one each in New South Wales (NSW), Queensland and Tasmania.
Most Australian states and territories reported fewer new daily cases, hospitalisations and deaths on Monday. However, recent data shows this is not unusual as states report a higher number of cases on other weekdays.
NSW and Queensland reported 5,855 and 2,872 new COVID-19 cases respectively, their lowest since 4 April.
Western Australia continues to see a decline in new cases. The state reported 6,649 cases and four historical deaths.

NSW residents can get free flu shots from 1 June at GPs and pharmacies until 30 June.
South Australia (SA) made flu shots free for its residents from 29 May. Queensland was the first state to announce free influenza jab. Other Australian states could soon follow suit.
SA has reduced the operational hours at Bedford Park and Walkley Heights COVID-19 drive-through testing clinics due to a decrease in demand. From today (30 May), testing will be available at both sites from 7 am to 10 pm on all days.
The Australian Capital Territory said testing centres in Garran Surge Centre (7.30 am - 9 pm) and Mitchell drive through (10.30 am - 6 pm) are open despite the Reconciliation Day day off in the jurisdiction. The ACT will not release its daily COVID-19 numbers today.
