世界领袖齐集基督城悼念恐袭死难者

全球各国领导人今日将出席在基督城举行之悼念仪式。

澳洲联邦总理莫理逊、反对党领袖索顿及总督科斯格罗夫,将联同接近60 个国家代表在新西兰基督城哈格利公园(Hagley Park)举行的死难者悼念仪式中,向两星期前清真寺屠杀事件中50 名死难者及数十名伤者致敬。

仪式在当地时间星期五(3 月 29 日)上午十时开始。在仪式开始前约一小时,现场约有 400 名民众在场等候。

穆斯林信徒及领袖亦将出席仪式,但由于安全原因他们的身份不获公开。

现场保安工作被形容为当地有使以来最大型。据报,澳洲联邦警察的狙击手及精英部队亦将在公园现场巡逻,确保活动安全举行。

新西兰总理阿德恩走到台上准备发言的一刻,在场民众起立向她致敬。

她说:「什么文字足以形容我们穆斯林社群面对仇恨及暴力威胁所带来的痛苦?什么文字足以形容这个城市的悲伤?我认为没有。」

< p>「我所听到的,是一个简单但有力的问候『al-Salam Alaikum』,愿和平临于你身上。」

 

阿德恩呼吁,全球领袖应制止任何形式的暴力及极端主义思想。

她说:「他们(遇害者)的故事,已成为我们集体记忆的一部份。他们将永远在我们心中。」

她希望,仪式将标志国家在哀痛中展开新一页。她说:「我将在仪式上尝试说出今次袭击事件对国家造成的影响及未来的去向。」

她表示,新西兰不单是一个国家,亦是国际社会的一份子。

同时,阿德恩亦将讲及要歼灭全球所有形式的极端暴力主义,这个重大挑战。

此前,阿德恩亦表示:「我们从来都未曾摆脱种族主义,我们从来都没有摆脱暴力意识型态。但我们的价值是平等、好怜悯、多元化。」
