You probably know from his widely publicised kitchen rants on his various , which are quite entertaining – provided they’re directed at someone else and not us.

Who could forget the iconic “idiot sandwich” moment?
Or his generally terrifying demeanour on his reality cooking series, ?
Ramsay is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Or at least he was, until video evidence of Ramsay meeting his match resurfaced online this week.

Twitter user unearthed a hidden gem this week when she shared a clip of Gordon Ramsay’s show, , from . The “Thai Restaurants” episode features Ramsay preparing food for a group of London-based Buddhist monks alongside chef Chang from London’s famed (now closed) Thai restaurant Blue Elephant.

But if you don't have time, here's a recap.

Ramsay decides to show Chang his take on “Thailand’s national dish, pad thai”. And that’s where it all comes undone.

To put it lightly, chef Chang is underwhelmed by Ramsay’s attempt.

“What will Chang think of my quick and easy version of this classic?” Ramsay asks.

In response, Chang curls his upper lip – presumably in disgust. “This is not pad Thai at all,” he says.

Despite the episode airing almost a decade ago, Twitter users are having a field day with the clip – people seem to be thrilled about Ramsay being brought down a peg or two.
SydneeW_’s amassed over 157,715 likes and was retweeted more than 83,000 times - is there anything sweeter than seeing someone like Gordon Ramsay cop a taste of his own medicine?

Enjoy this bit of schadenfreude today – perhaps over a bowl of pad Thai.
